Antonio Conte makes staggering admission following Tottenham’s Man United defeat

In his opinion, Antonio Conte said his Tottenham players were “scared” on Wednesday night during their 2-0 loss to Manchester United.

On Wednesday night, Tottenham lost in the Premier League for the second time this year as top-four rivals Manchester United easily defeated them at Old Trafford.

Fred and Bruno Fernandes’ goals in the second half gave the Red Devils the victory at Old Trafford.

As a result of United’s goalless draw with Brentford, they are now only one point behind Chelsea in fourth place in the Premier League standings.

Tottenham, meanwhile, has played one extra game and is currently four points behind Arsenal.

Arsenal and championship favorites Manchester City are becoming harder for Conte’s team to catch up to, and they are also keeping an eye on their backs.

After the match, Conte told BBC Sport: “We have to be honest and admit that United deserved to win. They started out by displaying considerably more than we did.

We have battled a lot this season. I try to analyze the game after it has ended with my players because I want to be completely honest.

It implies that we must go on working to better ourselves and see if we can play at this high level. To try to work, there is just one method.

We were a little scared as the game approached, and we displayed this. That bothers me. We need to have the desire to play this game differently, with more personality, and to not miss silly passes in our minds and the minds of our players.

My professional experience has shown me that you may continue to grow even when your career is over. We must maintain our composure, work hard, and demonstrate that we can succeed at this level, too.”

Spurs’ 2008 League Cup victory was their last trophy win. In reality, since their previous FA Cup victory in 1991, they have only won two League Cups.

But Conte has strong enough support to lead the team into contention for the Premier League championship. With four Serie A championships under his belt, there is hope that he will put an end to their protracted wait.
