Arsenal prepare new Mykhaylo Mudryk offer in a bid to secure the star’s signature

Mykhaylo Mudryk, a 22-year-old winger, is in high demand this January as Arsenal and Chelsea compete for his services. Arsenal is in talks with several teams about possible moves in an effort to bolster their roster by the end of the month.

After a week of the January transfer window being open, Arsenal failed to bring a new face to the Emirates Stadium.

That is not for lack of trying, however, as the Gunners have been linked with a number of players around Europe, including Mykhaylo Mudryk of Shakhtar Donetsk and Joao Felix of Atletico Madrid.

While it appears that negotiations are ongoing with both teams, a few more players who are already in North London may be leaving over the coming weeks.

After having their initial offer for Mudryk rejected by Shakhtar, Arsenal submitted an improved second offer.

Mykhaylo Mudryk is a key transfer target for Arsenal, but due to the cost Manchester United spent on Antony in the summer, they will have to pay more to acquire him.

The Ukrainian team has frequently drawn parallels between its top player and Manchester United striker Antony, implying that a similar transfer cost of £80 million or more would be required to complete a move.

After Mikel Arteta named Mudryk as his top transfer target, the Gunners are scrambling to sign the 22-year-old this month.

Although Mudryk is Arsenal’s top target, the Gunners have so far been hesitant to accept Shakhtar’s stated asking price despite their lack of attacking options after Gabriel Jesus underwent recent knee surgery.

The failure of Arsenal to reach a deal, though, may have given Chelsea the opportunity.
According to The Sun, Srna watched the game on Thursday from Boehly’s private box.

While this doesn’t necessarily mean a transfer is about to happen, it may have given some Arsenal supporters cause for concern. On the other hand, some may have felt reassured by the Blues’ poor performance.

The Shakhtar Donetsk forward has been clear about his desire to leave the Ukrainian powerhouses and said openly that he would be disappointed if he couldn’t force a transfer this month.

Due to Mudryk’s 11 goals in 19 games this season, elite clubs are on high alert. Although the 22-year-old has made no secret of his affection for Arsenal, it is uncertain whether a transfer would actually take place.

Despite Chelsea’s interest, Arsenal allegedly believes it is still in the driver’s seat in the race for Mudryk.

The Gunners are adamant that they won’t enter a bidding war for the 22-year-old, but they are still hesitant to pay Shakhtar’s asking price.

This transfer saga appears to have all the ingredients to go well until the conclusion of the window later this month.
