Chelsea has reportedly been ‘offered a deal’ to sign Neymar as PSG tries to avoid violating FFP rules.

Neymar has gotten off to a phenomenal start to the season, scoring eight goals in four games. Despite this, the Brazilian has reportedly been offered to Chelsea in a sensational deal before the transfer window closes.

Premier League club Chelsea has reportedly been “offered a contract” to sign Brazilian superstar Neymar from Ligue 1 powerhouse and European rivals Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite the difficulty of finalizing a deal before tomorrow’s transfer deadline, sources indicate that the current French champions are willing to sell Neymar before the window closes.

According to the Daily Mail, the Blues have been offered the chance to sign the 30-year-old forward, who has eight goals and six assists this season.

Thomas Tuchel, the current manager of Chelsea, and Neymar worked together at Paris in 2020, taking the club all the way to the UEFA Champions League final before losing to Bayern Munich.

Although Neymar wants to remain at the Parc des Princes, PSG is allegedly willing to explore selling either seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi or Neymar in order to avoid FFP sanctions from UEFA.

In an effort to give his Paris Saint-Germain team a more young look, new manager Christophe Galtier has spent over £100 million on players including Nordi Mukiele, Nuno Mendes, Fabian Ruiz, Renato Sanches, and Vitinha.

With Kylian Mbappe signing a staggering £650,000 per week deal in May, the Parisians have spent a lot of money on their star players.

Neymar’s price tag will make it difficult for Chelsea to finalize the move before the transfer season ends since the club is already exploring other targets.

The Blues have spent over £150 million on players like Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling,, and Carney Chukwuemeka, and they’ve subsequently recruited Wesley Fofana from Leicester thanks to new owner Todd Boehly’s generosity. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s name has also been linked to a potential reunion with Tuchel.

Marcos Alonso, who lost his starting spot to Robert Lewandowski after just nine months at Barcelona, might be part of a deal to pry Aubameyang away from the Camp Nou. Chelsea has been linked to RB Leipzig’s 20-year-old defender Josko Gvardiol.

Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi are starting to live up to expectations as a trio after an amazing start to the season, while Angel Di Maria joined Juventus after being released from PSG.

Since joining PSG from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 for a world record cost of £198m, Neymar has scored 108 goals and dished out 66 assists. The Brazilian international has 12 trophy wins to his name, including four French Ligue 1 championships, although he had a rough season in 2021/22.

He scored only 13 goals in all competitions, and he never scored in the Champions League despite making six appearances. After Galtier joined the team, Neymar flourished again, and the Brazilian superstar has shown his appreciation by dishing out several assists and goals.

In PSG’s 7-1 battering of LOSC Lille, the striker was directly involved in an unbelievable five goals (two goals, three assists), and he was also directly involved in four goals (one goal, three assists) in the team’s season-opening 4-0 victory against Clermont Foot.
