Cristiano Ronaldo drops ground-breaking comments on Erik Ten Hag and Man United

In an interview with Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo unleashed a fierce attack on Manchester United and Erik ten Hag for their treatment of him ever since his comeback at the beginning of last season.

Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United career has all but been destroyed by Cristiano Ronaldo’s dramatic attack on him and the Red Devils.

Ronaldo’s path to recovery is difficult to envision now that a portion of the contentious conversation he had with Piers Morgan was released late on Sunday night.

The complete interview won’t be made public until midweek, but the sneak peek is a harsh indictment of how Ronaldo’s relationship with United has deteriorated.

During the 90-minute interview that Ronaldo gave shortly before taking off for the World Cup, the forward made Ten Hag, Wayne Rooney, and Ralf Rangnick his objectives.

It would seem that their connection is finished because Ten Hag has made it clear that Ronaldo’s days of being a dependable starter for United are over.

Ronaldo made an unexpected attack on the Dutchman in his interview with Morgan.

After a successful stint as manager of Ajax, Ten Hag took over as manager of United in the summer.

However, in light of how the United manager has treated him this year, Ronaldo has now asserted that he has no regard for him.

“He doesn’t treat me with respect, so I don’t respect him. I won’t ever have respect for you if you don’t have respect for me.”

Ronaldo’s admission that he believes senior club administrators are pressuring him out of United is possibly the biggest bombshell he dropped.

This season, the attacker’s playing time has decreased as Ten Hag has favored other options.

And Ronaldo now thinks that people at Old Trafford are trying to push him to leave. While he believed he was telling the truth, he also acknowledged feeling “betrayed” by the way he was treated.

“I shouldn’t have said it, to be honest… However, I don’t care, people should listen to the truth. Yes, I feel betrayed, and I feel that some people, not just this year but last year as well, don’t want me here,” he admitted.

Although Ronaldo will face criticism for his shocking comments, he did suggest that Sir Alex Ferguson might be his most important supporter.

For six years during Ronaldo’s initial tenure at United, the illustrious Scot served as the player’s manager.

And Ronaldo has given hints that Ferguson shares his concerns about the Red Devils’ deteriorating trend. He also referred to anyone who did not believe there were problems at the club as “blind.”

The timing and style of Ronaldo’s interview left Ten Hag and the Manchester United players highly dissatisfied.

After their 2-1 victory over Fulham on Sunday afternoon, the club just learned about the interview as they were getting ready to board their flight from London, and they are baffled by what he had to say.

They are quite upset that he would act in such a disrespectful manner toward the team, the manager, and his teammates, and United is likely to now evaluate all of their options surrounding the player.
