New Man United Signing, Antony, Furious Over £20m Agent tug-of-war

Antony is the subject of a £20 million legal dispute between two agencies regarding who had the final say in the £85 million sale of the Ajax player to Manchester United.

A company that claims to have arranged Antony’s record-breaking £85 million move to Manchester United has come under fire.

On transfer deadline day, the greatest move in Dutch football history—a 22-year-old winger leaving Ajax—was reported, sparking a legal dispute over who would receive the £20 million bonus payment.

According to mirror football, two different agencies each think they had the largest influence on Antony’s transfer.

But after making his dream Red Devils debut in Sunday’s convincing 3-1 victory over Arsenal, he has snubbed one of the gatherings.

On social media, Forza Sports Group, whose owner and top agent is Revien Kanhai, claimed to have controlled the “globally greatest trade this year.”

That was in spite of Junior Pedroso, Antony’s personal agent, claiming to have arranged the massive sale in South America.

The Brazilian international has now responded to the argument and refuted Forza’s assertions.

This has to be a joke, right? On his Instagram story, Antony wrote.

“Our team/family has put in a lot of effort, but now an unidentified person wants to take charge of my transfer.

Since YOU were not engaged in the negotiations for either my contract or the transfer between the two teams, I kindly ask that you remove my name from your article.”

The Sao Paulo academy product arrived in England with high hopes as United’s second-most expensive move of all time.

In front of the Old Trafford crowd, Erik ten Hag gave him a start, and it didn’t take him long to deliver, scoring 35 minutes into his debut.

Prior to Bukayo Saka’s equalizer, Antony gave the Red Devils a first-half lead with a left-footed strike past Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

Marcus Rashford then scored twice to secure all three points for Manchester.

After the game, Antony made a post. “Thank you very much to my teammates and the entire MU staff!

I won’t soon forget this day! All my love to the United supporters for their response! Let’s aim higher! That’s only the start.”

Ten Hag, who signed the Brazilian for Ajax two years ago, expressed his joy at Antony’s debut, saying:

“Although he lacks a little bit of force because he has missed some training, you can still see his potential.

He is quite skilled with his pace, dribbling, and pressing ability. Although it will be difficult for him to adjust to the high level of intensity in the Premier League, we have seen his potential.”
