Pedro Neto Shares His Thoughts Concerning Surging Arsenal Transfer Links

Arsenal may yet recruit Pedro Neto this summer, one of the young players in the Premier League who hasn’t yet been snatched up by one of the Big Six teams.

The Wolves player has discussed recent interest in his services, with Arsenal prioritizing a move for him during the last week of the summer transfer market as the Gunners seek out additional recruits.

According to rumors, Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of the player, and the Gunners have reportedly been in contact with Neto through his agent, Jorge Mendes, for some time.

Pedro Neto has expressed his appreciation for rumors linking him to a transfer to Arsenal by saying he likes to know he has fans elsewhere.

This summer, the Portuguese winger has been linked with a late move to the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners ‘prioritizing’ a move for him before the transfer window closes in September.

It is unclear if the Londoners would be successful in acquiring the former Lazio starlet because Wolves obviously want to hang onto one of their prized possessions.

In order to remain in the West Midlands, he also signed a new five-year contract earlier this year.

While there has been interest in his services, Neto has said that while he is flattered to hear about it, he is completely committed to his current employers.

The right-winger remarked, as reported by The Times, “I usually want to hear this type of stuff, but I’m focused on my job here because I’m feeling very well here.

The things you hear motivate you to work harder, and it helps your mindset to know that people value you.”

Despite this, Neto described his desire to play at the top level of European football, which is not currently possible at the Emirates Stadium.

This is because the Gunners were eliminated from the Champions League at the end of the last campaign.

If Neto makes it to the Emirates Stadium in the coming week, he will join the other five summer signings.

Both Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko have had successful starts to life in North London.

In his first three Premier League appearances since joining from Manchester City, the former has two goals and three assists.

While Neto has been contacted about a potential transfer before the deadline next week, Leicester star Youri Tielemans may also be on the move.

Given that the Belgian midfielder’s present deal with the Midlands is set to expire next summer, Arsenal have been linked to him all this summer.

The Gunners have not yet made a bid for his services, but Arteta continues to be a huge fan of the former AS Monaco player.

Without a doubt, Arsenal would get a player of the highest caliber and one who outperforms their primary wide transfer target.

The transfer could possibly be closed with just a little bit of relentless work on Edu’s part.
