Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shares his thoughts on Graham Potter

One of Thomas Tuchel’s final acquisitions was Chelsea forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was hired just before the manager was fired and quickly replaced by Graham Potter.

Although Chelsea’s drought of a Champions League group stage victory continued on Wednesday, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang expressed his frustration while expressing support for Graham Potter, the club’s new manager.

Aubameyang made his club debut for the Blues against Dinamo Zagreb, and following the loss, Thomas Tuchel was fired by owner Todd Boehly.

The Blues were able to take the lead early in the second half thanks to Raheem Sterling, but they were unable to hold on to the victory in Potter’s first match against Red Bull Salzburg.

After Tuchel was fired as coach of Borussia Dortmund, Aubameyang expressed his delight at the prospect of working with the German again and received special assurances about his place in the squad.

On Wednesday, the Gabon striker made his debut under Potter, and he has positive initial thoughts about the new manager.

Aubameyang described the new boss as “a person who is incredibly enthusiastic and with a terrific temperament,” according to The Evening Standard.

“We want to win as soon as possible, so we’ll strive to learn with him.

It will be simple because, in my opinion, his idea is quite clear. I believe that getting used to one another takes time, but everything will work out.”

Aubameyang has been wearing a mask since moving to Stamford Bridge due to injuries sustained during a home invasion, and he has spoken about the role it has played in the early stages.

Aubameyang left Barcelona on transfer deadline day for Chelsea, leaving the Catalan club after they moved for Robert Lewandowski over the summer.

The former Arsenal player admitted that he was a little disappointed with the outcome.

“Unfortunately, despite our strong play, we still needed to win by a few goals.

It is difficult to play with a mask on and an injury, but I aim to be 100% as soon as possible. I need more time to recover from my injury.”

Aubameyang will have time to continue his recuperation, while Potter will have more time to work with his team off the field.

Due to policing concerns related to Queen Elizabeth II’s burial, Sunday’s game against Liverpool has been postponed. As a result, the Blues won’t play again until after the international break.

With 10 points from their first six games, Chelsea are now sixth in the Premier League and last in their Champions League group.

On October 5, they will host AC Milan at home in their next European match. The Italian champions are coming off a 3-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb at the San Siro.
