Sadio Mane Completes Bayern Munich Move With His Transfer Confirmed

Sadio Mane has officially signed a three-year contract with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich to complete his £35 million transfer from Liverpool.

Mane sealed a three-year contract with German champions Bayern Munich after joining from Southampton in 2016.

Since joining Liverpool in 2016, he has made 269 appearances and scored 120 goals across all competitions.

The transaction exceeds what Liverpool paid for Mane ($31 million plus $2.5 million in add-ons) with Southampton receiving no additional compensation

After switching from Liverpool to the Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, Sadio Mane insists he is “very thrilled” to be a member of the team.

After passing his physical in Bavaria on Tuesday, the 30-year-old Senegalese forward has agreed to a three-year contract with the Allianz Arena.

Mane’s spectacular six-year stint on Merseyside came to an end last week when Bayern and the Reds reached a £35 million agreement.

He left Anfield after the club-record acquisition of Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez from Benfica with only one year left on his contract.

In the summer of 2016, Mane moved to Liverpool from Southampton.

He assisted Jurgen Klopp’s team in winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup. During his tenure at Anfield, he scored 120 goals in all competitions.

After following Bayern while playing for Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg, Sadio Mane has admitted he had “no doubts” about leaving Liverpool.

Mane told Bayern’s website, “I’m incredibly thrilled to finally be at FC Bayern in Munich.

We had a lot of conversations, and I could see this wonderful club was very interested in me right away, so I had no second thoughts. I want to achieve a lot with this club.

It’s the appropriate time for this challenge. I watched a lot of Bayern games while I was living in Salzburg since I adore this team.”

The latest club in Mane’s professional career is now Bayern. He has formerly played for Southampton, Liverpool, Metz, and Red Bull Salzburg.

The Africa Cup of Nations, the Austrian Bundesliga, and the Austrian Cup are among the notable achievements of the star player.

Bayern president Herbert Hainer referred to Sadio Mane as a “global star” who underlines the attraction of FC Bayern and will boost the attractiveness of the Bundesliga as a whole.

“Fans visit the stadiums to watch such athletes. It’s fantastic that our board, under the direction of Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic, was able to bring Sadio Mane to FC Bayern.”

Oliver Khan, CEO of Bayern, remarked, “We are thrilled that we were able to bring Sadio Mane to FC Bayern.

There are very few players in the world with his exceptional accomplishments and big successes over many years at the highest international level.

With his amazing playing style, Sadio Mane will no doubt enthrall our supporters in the years to come.

He has ambition and the desire to accumulate additional titles. This box is quite durable. All the biggest ambitions at FC Bayern are feasible with players like him.”

Hasan Salihamidzic, a member of the Bayern board, also made a remark saying, “A top international star who has made an impact on world football is coming to FC Bayern in the form of Sadio Mane.

Being able to bring him to Munich makes us happy. Everyone knows his exceptional technical talents as well as his incredible mentality.

Sadio made it apparent from the first minute of our conversations that he now wanted to play for FC Bayern.

He will make a significant contribution and assist in leading our well-organized crew.

His decision to sign with FC Bayern indicates that both he and our organization have lofty goals.

With the kind of football that FC Bayern plays under Julian Nagelsmann, Sadio Mane fits in wonderfully.”
